This project included the demolition of structures at the decommissioned Onizuka Air Force Station in Sunnyvale, CA and construction of a new education center. The Foothill College Sunnyvale Center will offer year-round programs and services, providing a hub for workforce training in new and emerging technologies in the Bay Area at the gateway to one of Silicon Valley's premier technology parks.

New District Offices

Est. Completion Date: December 2017 | Measure C Budget: $20,000,000
The New District Offices will house administrative offices and the board room for the district. The project will be primarily funded by Measure C, supplemented by other funding sources. Design work began in 2015.

Foothill College: Library and Learning Resources Center Renovation (Library & ISC)

Completion Date: August 2016 | Project Budget: $15,381,821
This project includes the renovation of Buildings 3500 and 3600 to accommodate new programmatic requirements, replacement of HVAC and electrical systems, seismic upgrades, and roofing repairs.

De Anza College: Library

Completion Date: September 2015 | Project Budget: $11,174,419
This project included improved shelving, a voluntary structural upgrade for seismic safety, reworking of interior spaces to add group study rooms for enhanced student collaboration opportunities, and updating classrooms for multimedia/smart classroom capabilities.  Revised interior spaces included new circulation and reference desks, reference and periodical shelving stacks, main entrance modification to reduce wind-tunnel effect, addition of a copy room and lounge area, and modifications to staff offices, break rooms, and conference rooms. This project also included improvements of interior and exterior finishes, modification of the north side patio, and better ADA access to the main entry.
